Hey!
So it was a very slow process in the beginning… My University offered this 6 week program that kicked off everything. I had to meet with my councilor bi weekly, nutritionist, stretch training, 3 cardio classes a week, and keep a food journal. I lost 10 lbs and from there I kept going… I Zumba’d, did spinning, running, yoga, tried new things and gradually learned more and more about nutrition. My health was changing and I wanted to know why, and nutrition plays a huge role in that and from there I made a life style change and view food and fitness differently.
I would say it’s a slow process, but don’t give up. And look ahead at the bigger picture and the future. Looking back now I know I would not be where I am today if I didn’t go through all that… I wouldn’t be confident enough to go on interviews, meet new people, do internships, ect. (which has landed me here in NYC) and I know I wouldn’t have been physically fit to live in this city lol. I
hope that helps a little, let me know if there’s anything you’re struggling with and hopefully I can help more. Good luck on your weight loss journey! :)
